East Gull Lake Marinas
Cragun’s Resort Marina
If it can be done on the water, you’ll probably find it at Cragun’s Marina. Cragun’s full-service, lake-level marina is located on Gull Lake’s Steamboat Bay. Gull Lake is home to fabulous fishing for walleye, northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass and pan fish. You can launch your boat at Cragun’s Marina and tie your boat up to over 22,000 square feet of dock space to visit any of Cragun’s Restaurants or other recreational options. In the winter, the fun continues with a full complement of fun winter recreation options.
Gull Lake Fishing
Gull Lake, which is a 9,418 acre lake, is just six miles north of Brainerd. It is part of the Gull Lake Reservoir chain of lakes. The lake has a maximum depth of 80 feet and about 30% of the lake is shallower than 15 feet. Water clarity is excellent.
The Brainerd area has highly experienced fishing guides to help you get the most out of your Minnesota fishing trip. Book a guided fishing trip with one of our fishing guides and we’ll take care of everything for you, from the large, comfortable boats holding up to 3 adults, to outfitting you with state-of-the-art fishing gear (24 hour notice required). If you prefer, we have fishing boats available for rent as well as bait and tackle available for sale in the Marina.

From more traditional warm and cozy indoor activities to the unique, Minnesota winter activities like ice fishing or cross-country skiing, Cragun’s has all of the Minnesota winter activities you need for a great winter getaway.
Cragun’s Resort is your complete outfitter for whatever you need for fun in the snow. Cragun’s Snowmobile Center offers 4-stroke Polaris snowmobiles both single rider and 2-up for rent. The Gull Lake Lighted Trail runs past Cragun’s and is connected to a thousand miles of groomed trails in the Brainerd Lakes Area. There is also a selection of rental winter clothing including helmets and boots to keep you warm and comfortable.
A big, lighted outdoor ice skating rink is set up on Gull Lake, right in front of the resort. A huge bonfire with plenty of firewood and extra marshmallows is nearby to warm you up on chilly days. Skate rental for adults and children is available. Cragun’s Marina also has cross-country skis and snowshoes available for rent.
Ice fishing on Gull Lake is an experience not to be missed. Cragun’s ice fishing houses are placed at the drop-off in front of the resort and our staff will walk or drive you out to your fish house, open holes and get you set up for a “reel” Minnesota tradition. Cragun’s fish houses feature 4, 6 or 8 holes, are heated and equipped with lights, chairs and “rattle reels”.
